Last week I had, quite possibly, the best mojito I've ever tasted and it has left me wanting more.
It doesn't seem so appropriate having one in weather like this though.
What I need is a hammock on a sandy beach, with an
aquamarine ocean sparkling in the distance.
Mmmmm!

Cravings

I have a monster appetite. My recent cravings have been for anything violet flavoured! Odd, I know. It's easier to get such products in Paris than it is here. They almost have a borderline obsession with it over there. I got a bottle of Lorina (an overpriced but oh so chic lemonade range) violet water.... heaven! I had my eye on some macarons but unfortunately my budget didn't stretch that far.
I got a pair of nike blazers.. with a violet nike tick! I want a little leather jacket and lots of dresses this spring. It's has been too cold so far, although I'll take it over rain. I love when it's crisp and bright enough to wear my new red (faux) raybans, but unfortunately days like that are few and far between.
Death Cab have released the first track off their upcoming album and I love all 8 minutes of it. I think the intro clocks in somewhere around 4 minutes before Mr Gibbard starts to sing but it's great. Can't wait for that album. Coldplay's new one is out soon. I hope it doesn't disappoint, it's been too long. I'm staying in Dublin until end of April, go back to Paris then for the rest of the year at least. With a two week break in August for a holiday to LA and Seattle!!! That's if I fit on a plane. I have eaten a ridiculous amount lately. All I want to do is drink copious amounts of water, eat lots of fruit and veg and read Salinger. And listen to MGMT. I haven't felt this way about a band since I first heard Arcade Fire in the Spring of 05. Someone told me that when they listen to their debut, Oracular Spectacular, it makes them want to cry. I thought that was a bit extreme, but the more I listen to it, the more addicted I become. You need to buy this album. I've also been listening to The Miseducation Of Lauryn Hill lately. I was obsessed with it when it came out..... TEN YEARS AGO!!!
This has turned into one long ramble.
Thanks for reading!
Ps..... I love Pam and Jim!

HAlarious.

Irish tv show where a famous person gets made up to look 'anonymous' and then goes and annoys the public. This is some lad from westlife but it was hilarious!
And pink Snacks are the best!

Saying goodbye is harder than I thought, why am I soooo (embarrassingly) emotional?!?!
At least I have Paris to look forward to even though I am (for the moment) leaving loved ones behind.

melange de eyecandy!

Oracular Spectacular by MGMT was my most played album of Feb, I don't think I listened to anything else. I was going to list a few fave songs but I can't pick any, they're all stand out tracks for me. You need to get this album. It's what Spring would sound like if it made an Indie/Synth record. Make sense? No. But get this album anyway.

I adore Chanel.
Paris Fashion Week has just come to its conclusion. My favourite show (sadly not as a front row viewer but a newspaper reader) was by far Chanel. I love Lagerfeld. The set up was darling!
