Apparently since the beginning of June, it has rained every day in Ireland. It's not a refreshing summer rain after a hot spell because the temperature is struggling to rich the mid teens. It's like winter evenings. I've been sleeping with an extra blanket and a hot water bottle and it's almost the middle of July!!
